The Friends of Shasta County Libraries is a 501(C)3 Non-Profit that supports literacy as a skill set of power in Society. 

HISTORY

Since 1979, the Friends of Shasta County Libraries (FOSCL) has been an integral part of the Shasta Public Libraries. Our goal is to strengthen our community through literacy and lifelong learning by providing equal access to materials for everyone. We are not only a place to come and read, but we are a center for discovery, creativity, and empowerment and are dedicated to helping our local libraries expand our world through books.
