For more than 40 years, the Friends of Shasta County Libraries (FOSCL) has been a dedicated supporter of the Shasta Public Libraries in Shasta County, California. Donations are tax-deductible and directly benefit programs at both the Anderson and Redding Libraries. Additionally, FOSCL provides essential funding for all three libraries during the annual Summer Reading Program, helping to enrich the community's access to educational and cultural resources.

Bookstore Volunteer

Help us maintain and operate the Bookstore inside the Redding Library. We receive and shelve donated books and assist our patrons who come in to purchase a book from our store.

Booksale Support

Assist the Friends of the Shasta County Library 12-times a year at our monthly book sale. This is held on the first Saturday of the month at the

Redding Library.
