BOOK DONATIONS

The Bookstore accepts donations based on the following criteria:

  • Hardback Books

  • Paperback Books

  • Compact Discs (CD)

  • Digital Video Disc (DVD)

  • Audiobooks

  • Magazines (Not more than 1-year old)

  • National Magazines

Donated books and media support:

  • FOSCL Bookstore

  • Monthly Book Sale

  • Free Shelf at Redding Library entrance

  • Little Free Libraries

  • Shasta Public Library 

  • Treasured Books (SLF Online Bookstore)

Items We Don't Accept

The items below are things we do not take in as donations at the FOSCL Bookstore:

  • Encyclopedias

  • Medical Books

  • Real Estate Books

  • Law Books (that are more than 2-yrs old)

  • School Books

  • Video Home System Tapes (VHS)

To promote, support, and enhance the Shasta Public Libraries programs through

resources and partnerships in our community.
